5 Signs You Need to Hire a Personal Trainer

Do you find yourself struggling with your fitness journey? In this video, we explore common challenges that might be holding you back from achieving your health and fitness goals, and why personal training could be the solution you’ve been searching for!

  1. You’re getting injured during or as a result of your training. If you have a history of experiencing pain during your workouts, chances are you could be missing key elements when performing certain movements. A knowledgeable fitness professional will be able to provide you with regressions or progressions to essentially any movement so that you can be successful and to keep you in the gym longer!
  1. You haven’t seen any progress. Of course weight loss or changes in body composition doesn’t happen overnight. However if you’re not seeing any progress with the work that you’ve been doing, working with a personal trainer may be the answer! Your trainer can help guide you through movements that will give you the most benefits and offer a wide variety of exercises that are appropriate for you and your health goals.
  1. You’re not enjoying your workout. We get it, not everyone enjoys exercising as much as we do. But finding an approach to exercise that you enjoy and look forward to can help keep you in the gym and showing up for yourself. If resistance training isn’t your favorite form of exercise, you are able to do less desirable activities with them so you can incorporate activities you do enjoy outside of your sessions.
  1. Your fitness journey has started and stopped frequently. Many of my clients have told me that they would stick with the gym for about 2 months before falling off the wagon. Sometimes these breaks between continuous exercise could last years! After they made a financial commitment to a personal training package, they were finally able to continue working out consistently for 3, 6, 12 months and longer! Consistently showing up to their sessions, and learning to attend the gym on their own has helped many of my clients build self discipline and build life-long healthy habits.
  1. You haven’t started yet and you don’t know how! Hiring a personal trainer is more than just exercise, over the time that you spend with your trainer, you begin to build a relationship built on trust. You trust that your trainer is going to help you get to where you want to be and your trainer trusts that you will do your part to keep you healthy! We understand that taking the first step is the hardest part, but you don’t have to do it alone. We are here to help you become the best version of yourself.
